Aloo Masala for Puri


  • 2-3 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4 potatoes (boiled and roughly mashed – keep few pcs intact)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tsp Zaiqa Aloo Sabzi Masala
  • Chopped coriander and green chillies for garnish.
  • Salt to tastePreparation
  1. In a kadai, heat ghee and add 1 tsp zeera; sauté for a minute and add boiled potatoes. Toss well and add tomato puree.
  2. Fry well for 3 mins on low flame. Add 1 tbsp Zaiqa Aloo Sabzi  Masala and salt to taste. Sauté for few mins till aroma releases.
  3. Add 2 cups of water and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame (varying the time depending on the consistency you like for the sabzi).
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander and green chillies.
