Methi Malai Matar

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp ‏Ghee/Oil
  • 1 tsp Zeera
  • 1 big ‏Onion
  • 1 bunch ‏Methi/ Fenugreek Leaves
  • ½ cup ‏Green Peas (boiled)
  • 12 ‏Cashew nuts / Kaju
  • 3-4 cloves ‏Garlic
  • 2 ‏Green chilli
  • ½ “ inch ‏Ginger
  • Salt as per taste ‏
  • 2 tsp Zaiqa Methi Matar Masala
  • 1 ¼ cup ‏Milk
  • ½ cup ‏Fresh Cream

Process

  1. Boil Onion pcs, green chillies, cashewnuts and the ginger for 5 minutes in half cup water. Cool and Grind along with the Garlic, keep aside.
  2. Seperate blanch methi leaves for 3 mins, drain and squeeze out any remaining water of the leaves. Keep Aside.
  3. Heat Ghee, add cumin seeds, onion-cashew paste sauté for 3-4 mins.
  4. Add the methi leaves to this and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add green peas. Simmer for 2-3 mins.
  5. Add Salt, Zaiqa Methi Matar Masala, simmer along with Milk for 5 mins
  6. Finally add cream and simmer for a minute. Serve hot with Naan or roti
